Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking an Optometric Technician to support ophthalmologists by performing initial testing and preparing patients for exams. You will help deliver a world-class Total Patient Experience and ensure accurate documentation while complying with HIPAA in a fast-paced eye care setting.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferred ophthalmic experience and a background in medical office work. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year in a role interacting with customers/patients or equivalent education/experience.
• Favorable background check as required by state.
• Proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering a world-class Total Patient Experience and provide medical support.

• Operate testing equipment and follow testing scripts.
