Job summary

Rosin Eyecare Aurora, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking a full-time Optometric Technician to support eye exams and patient care. You will assist with patient flow, perform pre-exam tests, manage records, and help maintain a safe, welcoming clinical environment.

With 2+ years in optometry or healthcare, you will use optical testing knowledge and strong communication to ensure a smooth patient experience. Weekend/evening shifts may be required; competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience in optometry, ophthalmology or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of optical and medical terminology.
• Understanding and utilization of optical equipment and diagnostic testing.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient care and eye exams, manages patient records and supports exam flow.
• Performs tests to aid the optometrist, including visual acuity, depth/color perception, and retinal imaging.
• Maintains patient records, protects privacy under HIPAA, and supports schedule management.
• Operates POS system and contributes to a positive patient experience.
• Adheres to attendance, dress code, policies, and safety standards.
