Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking an Optometric Technician to assist Optometrists with pre-testing, testing, and patient education. You will help manage the appointment flow, ensure accurate documentation, and support high-quality patient experiences.

Responsibilities include scheduling referrals, performing basic testing, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant records while collaborating with a team dedicated to excellent eye care.

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating patients for eye exams and dispensing eye exam medications.
• Familiarity with medical terms related to eye treatment.
• Certification as CPO/CPOA/CPOT.

Responsibilities

• Support Optometrists with pre-testing procedures and education.
• Schedule and manage doctor appointments to ensure efficiency.
• Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA.
• Assist with diagnostic testing and post-exam tasks.
• Answer patient inquiries and coordinate referrals as needed.
