Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking an Optometric Technician to support doctors and patients in delivering high-quality eye care. You will conduct pre-testing, assist with diagnostic tests, and help manage the patient flow from check-in to post-exam follow-up.

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating patients for eye exams and dispensing eye medications.
• Familiarity with medical terms related to eye treatment.
• Industry certification (CPO, CPOA, CPOT).

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-exam testing and patient triage.
• Assist Optometrists with diagnostic testing and appointment scheduling.
• Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA and policies.
• Schedule referrals and manage paperwork.
• Support post-exam tasks and clerical duties.
• Assist with contact lens insertion/removal and inventory.
