Pay Type: Full Time

Pay Range: $14.70 - $17.29 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, ensuring the best patient experience. This role involves training and knowledge in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their vision care journey, meeting their eye exam needs in a human and confident manner.

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patients to the OD and provide essential patient information.
• Transition patients from the doctor to the sales floor, providing associates with necessary information to educate and recommend products and services.
• Support daily operational activities, including restocking, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience.

Qualifications:

• Related customer or patient experience preferred but not required.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
