Pay Type: Part Time
Pay Range: $14.70 - $17.29 per hour

The Role

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient. This role involves training and knowledge in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through their initial experience, ensuring their eye exam needs are met in a friendly and professional manner.

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patients to the OD and provide relevant patient information.
• Transition patients from the doctor to the sales floor, assisting in product and service recommendations.
• Support daily operational activities, including restocking, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to enhance patient experience.

Qualifications

• Customer or patient service experience preferred but not required.
• HS diploma, GED, or equivalent related experience.
