Pay Type: Part Time

Pay Range: $13.75 - $16.01 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, dedicated to ensuring a positive experience for every patient. This role requires knowledge of eye health, preliminary testing, optics, our products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their eye care journey, ensuring their needs are met in a friendly and professional manner.

• Maintain accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing
• Introduce patients to the OD and provide relevant patient information
• Assist in transitioning patients from the doctor to the sales floor, educating and recommending suitable products and services
• Support daily operations such as restocking, equipment cleaning, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience
