Pay Type: Full Time

Pay Range: $13.75 - $16.01 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, ensuring the best possible experience for every patient. This role involves knowledge of eye health, preliminary testing, optics, products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their eye care journey, ensuring their needs are met in a simple, human, and bold way.

• Maintain accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing
• Introduce patients to the OD and provide relevant patient information
• Assist in transitioning patients from the doctor to the sales floor, providing associates with necessary information to recommend suitable products and services
• Support daily operational activities such as restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience

Qualifications:

· Related customer or patient experience preferred but not required

· HS diploma, GED, or equivalent related job experience
