The Role

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, dedicated to ensuring the best patient experience. You will be trained in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, our products/services, and managed vision care. Your role is to guide patients through the initial steps of their eye care journey, ensuring their needs are met in a friendly and professional manner.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
2. Introduce patients to the OD and provide relevant patient information.
3. Assist in transitioning patients from the doctor to the sales floor, educating and recommending suitable products and services.
4. Support daily operational activities like restocking, cleaning, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience.

Qualifications

• Customer or patient service experience preferred but not required.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; related experience is a plus.
