Optimizer Operator – 3rd Shift

New Opportunity at MI Windows and Doors – Gratz Plant

Pay Rate

$22.65 plus $1.50 shift differential

Shift Schedule

Sunday pm to Thursday pm (9pm to 5:30am)

Responsibilities

• Read and understand orders.
• Read job order for specifications such as material, type, and size of stock, and dimensions to be cut, punched and assembled.
• Read a tape measure.
• Work well in group environments.
• Obey all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Comply with all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
• Inspect work-in-process and finished units to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Understand quality process sheets and responsibilities.
• Actively participate in continued process improvements.
• Maintain regular punctual attendance.
• Identify the correct glass types and glass variations.
• Work 40 plus hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or a GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Ability to maintain a fast pace with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
• Excellent teamwork skills; develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
