Job summary

MITER Brands, including MI Windows and Doors, Milgard, and PGT Innovations, is seeking dedicated manufacturing workers in Temecula, CA. The role focuses on producing vent, window, or door panels with high quality while complying with SOPs and safety standards.

Candidates should have prior manufacturing experience, especially in window production, and be comfortable lifting and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment; window manufacturing preferred.
• Glass handling knowledge is a plus.
• Strong math, measurement reading, color discernment, and teamwork are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform departmental activities per SOPs, MPS, and Philosophy.
• Read tags to verify material type, color, and size.
• Complete quality control charts as required per SOP.
• Produce a vent, window, or door panel with minimal breakage and acceptable quality.
• Keep all parts stocked at all times (rollers, screws, etc.).
• Adhere to safety policies and PPE usage.
• Promote a team environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Complete quality control charts as required per standard operating procedures.
• Produce a vent, window, or door panel with minimal breakage and acceptable quality.
• Keep all parts (rollers, screws, etc.) stocked at all times.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures related to all facets of job.
• Proper usage of personal protective equipment.

Experience Required

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Window manufacturing, preferred.
• Glass handling and/or glass knowledge a plus.

Essential Abilities

• Compute basic math problems to include fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read a tape measure.
• Good hand eye coordination and the ability to discern colors.
• Ability to work in, and promote, a team environment.
• Capable of lifting 20 – 100, per SOP.

Work Environment

• Work performed in a warehouse type facility with temperatures subject to normal environmental conditions.
• Hearing protection and safety glasses required, additional safety equipment provided based on specific job.
• Work surfaces are primarily concrete with anti-fatigue mats provided where feasible. Personnel will stand while performing their respective job functions, for up to 12 hours a day.
