Job summary

MITER Brands at the Gratz Plant in PA is hiring for a Receiving – 3rd Shift role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This full-time position focuses on receiving, cataloging, and organizing materials for production, with hands-on duties in a busy warehouse setting.

Starting pay is $22.65 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential, and the company offers a robust benefits package, cross training, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Powered industrial truck license required or ability to obtain training.
• 3–6 months of experience and/or training, or equivalent education/experience.
• Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide) using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic computer skills with Microsoft software.
• ERP system experience or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Replenishes manufacturing lines with requested material and files paperwork.
• Empty gaylords and dumpsters and complete paperwork.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Verify quantities of material received against packing slip.
• Place incoming material in designated area.
• Communicate with Receiving Supervisor and Buyers/Planners to ensure inventory levels.
• Complete cycle counting.
• Data entry – receiving and transfer of product in SB Client (ERP).
• Scan bar codes and use handheld scanners to receive and transfer items.

General Purpose

This position is responsible for duties related to receiving, cataloging and organization of materials used for production purposes, as well as the preparation of materials for the shop floor.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Replenishes manufacturing lines with requested material and files appropriate paperwork
• Empty gaylords and dumpsters and complete paperwork
• Maintains a clean and organized work area
• Verifies quantities of material received against packing slip
• Places incoming material in designated area
• Communicates with Receiving Supervisor and Buyer/Planners to ensure adequate Inventory Levels
• Completes cycle counting
• Data entry – receiving and transfer of product in SB Client (ERP system).
• Scanning – taking bar code labels from Buyer/Planners and placing on product as it is received. Use of hand-held scanners to receive & transfer inventory items.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Skills, And Abilities

• The employee will be required to obtain powered industrial truck license additional training on moving baskets and glass.
• Three to six months of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Possess a valid driver license.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft software.
• ERP System experience or willingness to learn
• The employee is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• The employee must:
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Occasionally push and/ or pull up to 100 pounds
