Job summary

AEG is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care in Exton, PA. You will help patients choose frames and lenses, ensure proper measurements, and dispense accurately while delivering outstanding service.

You will stay current on products, rebates, and insurance benefits, and will assist with order status, adjustments, and patient education. A team-focused environment that values growth and patient satisfaction awaits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• ABO/NCLE certification preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one year experience as an Optician preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA compliance preferred.
• PC skills including MS Office and basic Windows.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an extraordinary experience to each patient and explain customized product recommendations.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and coatings and manage fittings.
• Keep up to date on products, rebates, lenses, and frames.
• Enter prescription data into the EHR and ALE system and ensure documentation is complete.
• Follow up on orders and inform patients of delays; escalate when needed.
• Inspect, adjust, and dispense glasses for proper fit and comfort.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the practice.
• Explain insurance, warranties, and pricing options to patients.
