Medical Eyeglass Center, Inc. is seeking an Optician to join our team in Saint Augustine/Jacksonville, FL, working inside medical offices. You will provide patients with an outstanding eyewear experience from selection to fitting.

The role requires interpreting prescriptions, fitting eyewear, and delivering patient-focused service while maintaining accurate records and supporting insurance claims. A professional, sales-oriented approach is essential.

Formación

• Reading and interpreting spectacle prescriptions required.
• Experience with eyewear fitting and repairs preferred.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and insurance portals preferred.
• Organized with good time management and attention to detail.
• Team-oriented and receptive to feedback.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients from selection to fitting and adjustments.
• Process orders through POS systems.
• Maintain prescription, order, payment, and insurance records.
• Track lab orders and ensure timely completion.
• Submit insurance claims and post payments.
• Dispense eyewear and contact lenses when applicable.
• Assist with adjustments, repairs, and cleaning.
• Maintain stocked, organized displays.
• Coordinate daily schedules and promotions.
• Collaborate with providers, technicians, and staff.
• Maintain a welcoming environment.
