Job summary

Keplr-Vision-Group is seeking an optician to ensure patients receive the best quality of care. You will review prescriptions, educate patients on lens options, and provide frame recommendations tailored to medical needs and lifestyle. You will also manage inventory and assist with order placement while meeting sales targets.

The ideal candidate has 0–3 years of experience, strong customer service skills, and is flexible and coachable. Training in optical procedures will be provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and personal presentation are critical.
• 0–3 years of experience preferred.
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Optical experience is preferred but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Review Physician’s prescriptions and orders based on medical charts.

• Provide honest but compassionate feedback about aesthetic choices in frames.
• Achieve sales goals and quotas as determined by office staff.

• Perform adjustments and repairs of eyewear and place optical orders with insurance understanding.

The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure that all patients are receiving the best quality of care at all times. Primary responsibilities include:

• Review Physician’s prescriptions and orders based on medical charts
• Educate patients on their corrective lens options and help them make a choice that fits their medical needs as well as lifestyle preferences
• Provide honest but compassionate feedback about aesthetic choices in frames
• Achieve sales goals and quotas as determined by office staff while attending to patients’ specific needs and desires
• Manage inventory of frames and contact lenses to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and product variety
• Communicate with physician with questions or concerns about prescriptions and other eye-related issues
• Perform adjustments and repairs of eyewearPlace optical orders with a general understanding of insurance benefits

Experience & Skills

Excellent customer service skills and personal presentation are critical to this role. The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of experience and:
