Job summary

Keplr-Vision-Group is seeking an Optician I to ensure patients receive high-quality eye care. You will review prescriptions, educate on lens options, assist with frame choices, and support sales goals while maintaining inventory and coordinating with physicians.

The ideal candidate has 0-3 years of experience, strong customer service, and professional demeanor. Training is provided; this is a full-time on-site role in Sandy Springs, GA.

Responsibilities

General Job Description & Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure that all patients are receiving the best quality of care at all times. Primary responsibilities include:

• Review Physician’s prescriptions and orders based on medical charts


• Educate patients on their corrective lens options and help them make a choice that fits their medical needs as well as lifestyle preferences


• Provide honest but compassionate feedback about aesthetic choices in frames


• Achieve sales goals and quotas as determined by office staff while attending to patients’ specific needs and desires


• Manage inventory of frames and contact lenses to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and product variety


• Communicate with physician with questions or concerns about prescriptions and other eye-related issues


• Perform adjustments and repairs of eyewear


• Place optical orders with a general understanding of insurance benefits

Experience & Skills

Excellent customer service skills and personal presentation are critical to this role. The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of experience and:

• Good organizational and multitasking abilities

• Optical experience is preferred but not necessary-we will train the right person
