Job summary

AEG Vision in Loveland, CO is seeking an Optician to deliver expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care on-site. You will assist patients with frame and lens selections, ensure proper fit, and manage prescriptions and insurance details with accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum one year experience as an Optician preferred.
• HIPAA experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert eyewear solutions and patient care.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and treatments.
• Explain insurance benefits and pricing to patients.
• Ensure proper frame fit and lens dispensing.
• Enter prescription data into EHR/ALE and keep records updated.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the practice.
• Collaborate with technicians and managers on orders.
