Job summary

EyeCare Partners is looking for an Optician in Tyler, TX to provide a world-class Total Patient Experience and maximize retail sales. Candidates should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a high school diploma is required.

The Optician will assist patients with selecting frames, dispense glasses and contact lenses, and maintain accurate inventory. They must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year in a customer interactive position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current ABO/ABOC and NCLE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve a world-class Total Patient Experience while maximizing retail sales.
• Dispense and fit glasses and contacts from prescriptions.
• Operate the auto-lensometer and manual lensometer.
