AEG Vision is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care in our busy practice. You will help patients select frames and lenses based on prescriptions, lifestyle, and personal style, ensuring proper fit and accurate dispensing.

You will interpret prescriptions, educate patients on care and warranties, and maintain knowledge of insurance benefits. Strong customer service, communication skills, and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ABO/NCLE certification preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience as an Optician preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA requirements preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and treatments.
• Verify prescriptions and ensure proper lens dispensing and frame fit.
• Interact with technicians and managers to track orders and resolve issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the practice environment.
