Job summary

Pearle Vision in Montgomery County, PA is seeking a full-time Optician to deliver an exceptional customer experience while fitting lenses, advising on frames and lens options. You will measure, verify prescriptions, and support sales goals in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role requires HS diploma, ABO certification, and retail or customer service experience; preferred candidates include a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in retail.

Qualifications

• Ability to sell through sales skills and meet/exceed targets
• Strong communication and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Fills ophthalmic eyeglass prescriptions and fits lenses and frames.
• Measures bridge, eyesize, temple length, vertex distance, pupillary distance and optical centers.
• Assists customers in frame selection and coordinates with measurements and prescriptions.
• Ensures accurate pricing, POS entries, and timely delivery quotes.
• Supports store merchandising and promotional programs.
