EssilorLuxottica’s For Eyes store in Ridley Township, PA is hiring a Part-Time Licensed Optician to deliver premium eyewear and service. You will greet customers, perform precise frame and lens fitting, and help patients with prescriptions in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State Licensure.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener & team builder.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise.
• Basic math skills.
• Awareness of current fashion trends.
• Selling skills - ability to use & carry an iPAD/tablet.
• Familiarity with POS, computers & calculators.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and establishes rapport.
• Custom fits glasses and places prescription in lenses.
• Leads with optical knowledge and assists team.
• Takes measurements and ensures eyewear meets standards.
• Attracts new customers and identifies needs.
• Asks open-ended questions to understand priorities.
• Reviews prescriptions and special needs.
• Utilizes store tools and brand commitments.
• Explains features/benefits of lenses and frames.
• Maintains accurate and thorough work under time pressure.
• Collaborates with management to resolve issues.
