Job summary

EyeCare Partners LLC is hiring an Optical Technician. You will dispense and fit glasses and contacts based on prescriptions written by optometrists and ophthalmologists, connecting patient needs to products and services.

Training is available; prior eyecare experience is helpful but not required. We offer a full benefits package, 401k with matching, PTO, holiday pay, maternity leave, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Medical/ophthalmic office experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year customer/patient interaction experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver Total Patient Experience and build relationships with patients
• Assist patients in selecting frames per style and measurements
• Operate auto-lensometer and lensometer
• Educate on lenses, coatings, and frames
• Take measurements (bridge, eye size, temple length, seg heights, PD, pantoscopic tilt)
• Dispense glasses/contacts and manage orders in E360
• Maintain inventory accuracy and adhere to policies
• Perform general office duties as assigned
