Job summary

Clarkson Eyecare in Ballwin, MO seeks an Optical Technician to dispense and fit glasses and contacts, working with prescriptions from Optometrists and Ophthalmologists. You will assist patients, take precise measurements, and ensure accurate lens and frame selections to maximize patient satisfaction.

The role emphasizes the Total Patient Experience, daily customer service, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ABO/ABOC/NCLE certifications preferred.
• 1 year of customer/patient interaction experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting frames according to style and facial features.
• Dispense glasses and contact lens orders in E360 system.
• Operate autolensometer and lensometer for precise measurements.
• Educate patients on lenses, coatings, and frame choices.
• Maintain organized, clean display and inventory of frames.
