Job summary

EyeCare Partners in Ballwin, MO seeks an Optical Technician to dispense glasses and contacts from prescriptions written by optometrists. You will help patients select frames, take measurements, and ensure a world-class Total Patient Experience.

The role requires strong communication, basic computer skills, and adherence to HIPAA. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, life, 401k, PTO and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous medical office or ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• 1 year in a customer/patient-facing role or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in frame selection based on style and measurements.
• Dispense glasses and contact lens orders per prescriptions.
• Operate optometric equipment and ensure accuracy of measurements.
• Provide excellent patient service and maintain organized work areas.
• adhere to HIPAA and company policies at all times.
