Job summary

EyeCare Partners in St. Louis, MO is seeking an Optical Technician to maximize Total Patient Experience by supporting medical needs and driving eyewear sales.

You will dispense and fit glasses and contacts based on prescriptions from Optometrists and Ophthalmologists. Responsibilities include assisting patients in frame selection, taking facial and eye measurements, operating lensometers, and recommending lenses and coatings to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a role interacting with customers/patients

Responsibilities

• Deliver Total Patient Experience and build patient relationships
• Assist patients in selecting frames with measurements
• Operate auto-lensometer and manual lensometer
• Educate on lenses, coatings, and frames
• Take measurements like bridge, eye size, PD, etc.
• Dispense glasses and contact lens orders
