Clarkson Eyecare in Valley Park, MO is seeking an Optical Technician to dispense glasses and contacts, and support patients’ medical needs. You will work from Optometrists’ prescriptions to connect patient needs with products, while maintaining Total Patient Experience.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience interacting with patients or customers is preferred.
• HIPAA compliance and PHI handling knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with patients while delivering medical support.
• Assist patients in selecting frames based on style, measurements and prescriptions.
• Operate optical instruments (lensometer) and dispense glasses/contacts.
• Educate on lenses, coatings, and frames to match patient needs.
• Collect accurate measurements and ensure proper frame inventory.
