Job summary

EyeCare Partners LLC in Rock Hill, MO is seeking an Optical Technician to dispense and fit glasses and contacts from prescriptions written by optometrists and ophthalmologists. You will help patients select frames, measure accurately, and support the Total Patient Experience.

No prior ophthalmic experience required; training will be provided. The position offers full benefits, 401(k) with company match, PTO, maternity leave, competitive pay, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• HIPAA compliance expected.
• Ability to read and interpret insurance forms.
• Ability to read and interpret safety/operational documents.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with patients while delivering great medical support.
• Assist patients in selecting frames according to style and measurements.
• Operate the auto-lensometer and manual lensometer.
• Educate on lenses, coatings, and frames to suit needs.
• Dispense glasses/contacts and manage orders in E360.
• Maintain organized, well-presented work areas.
