Job summary

EyeCare Partners in Ellisville, MO is seeking an Optical Technician (Optician) to dispense and fit glasses and contacts under ophthalmologists' prescriptions. We offer training, no prior ophthalmic experience required, and opportunities to advance within our national network.

You will work with Optometrists, measure PD, bridge size, eye size, and help select frames and lenses. Proficiency with E360 and basic office software is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year in a customer/patient-facing role.
• Experience in a medical/ophthalmic setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Total Patient Experience and build patient relationships.
• Determine patient needs and upsell products.
• Assist with frame selection based on style and measurements.
• Operate auto-lensometer and manual lensometer.
• Educate on lenses, coatings, and frames.
• Take precise measurements (PD, bridge, eye size, etc.).
• Dispense glasses/contacts and manage orders in E360.
• Maintain inventory and cleanliness.
