Job summary

EyeCare Partners LLC in St. Louis, MO is seeking an Optical Technician (Optician) to dispense and fit glasses and contacts under physician prescriptions. Training is available; no prior eyecare experience required.

The role supports patient needs and contributes to a positive Total Patient Experience. You will work in a busy office, with responsibilities including lensometry, frame selection, and coordinating with Optometrists and Ophthalmologists.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous ophthalmic experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures.
• HIPAA compliance required for associates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver world-class Total Patient Experience and build relationships with patients.
• Assist customers in selecting frames based on style and measurements.
• Dispense glasses and contact lens orders per prescriptions.
• Operate lensometry equipment and verify measurements.
• Maintain inventory, cleanliness, and organization in the optical area.
• Perform general office duties as assigned by management.
