Job summary
Xcimer Energy invites engineering interns for a 12-week Summer 2027 program in Denver, CO, focused on optical engineering and laser-driven inertial fusion hardware. Interns will work under a mentor across disciplines including mechanical, electrical, physics, and software development to tackle real-world challenges for a potential fusion energy plant.
Applicants must be enrolled in an engineering degree program and demonstrate CAD proficiency, strong communication, and a passion for fusion
Qualifications
- In enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD from an accredited program in engineering.
- Experience applying technical skills via projects, labs, or prior internships.
- Proficiency in CAD software for 3D modeling and simulation.
