Xcimer Energy, based in Denver, CO, invites applications for a 12-week Summer 2027 Internship in Computational and Software Engineering. You will work under an experienced mentor to tackle real-world challenges across structures, optics, simulations, and software for a laser-driven inertial fusion system.

Open to undergraduates, masters, and PhD students in mechanical, electrical, physics, nuclear engineering, or related fields.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in engineering (mechanical, electrical, physics, nuclear) or related field.
• Experience applying technical skills beyond coursework (projects, volunteering, research).
• Proficiency in CAD software for 3D modeling and simulation.
