Job summary

Xcimer Energy invites undergraduate, masters and PhD students to join our 12-week engineering internship at the Denver, Colorado headquarters. Interns work on laser-driven inertial fusion hardware and software across mechanical, electrical, physics, and nuclear engineering disciplines.

You will be paired with an industry mentor and contribute to real-world projects—from CAD design and thermal analysis to systems engineering and simulations—preparing for the world’s first commercial fusion energy

Qualifications

• Enrolled in accredited Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in mechanical, electrical, physics, nuclear engineering or related discipline.
• Demonstrates technical skills beyond coursework (extracurriculars, projects, research, prior internships).
• Proficiency in CAD software for 3D modeling and simulation.
