Xcimer Energy invites students across Mechanical, Electrical, Physics, Nuclear, and Software disciplines to join a 12-week internship program in Denver, CO. Interns will work with mentors to design and build laser-driven inertial fusion hardware and software, contributing to the world's first commercial fusion energy plant.

The program emphasizes hands-on experience, rigorous training, and collaboration across structures, optics, pulsed power, computational engineering, and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master’s or PhD degree program in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, nuclear engineering, or related field.
• Experience applying technical skills outside of the classroom (extracurricular projects, volunteering, personal projects, lab research, or prior internship/work).
• Proficiency in CAD software for 3D modeling and simulation.
