Job summary

Warby Parker in Pittsburgh is seeking an Optical Supervisor to join our team of in-house optical professionals. You will rely on your optical prowess, friendly demeanor, and product expertise to create exceptional customer experiences.

As a keyholder, you’ll open/close the store, mentor the Optical team, and help maintain store operations while upholding Warby Parker standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states requiring licensure or ABO-certified in non-licensing states.
• 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Optical duties: take measurements, adjust and fit eyewear, and ensure accuracy.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Lead store operations by following Warby Parker standards and supervising the optical team.
• Mentor and develop staff, including Optician Apprentice Program participants.
• Maintain inventory systems and general store operations.
