Job summary

Visionworks of America in Lombard, IL is seeking an Optical Supervisor/Assistant Manager to lead store operations and deliver a simple, human and bold patient and customer journey. This full-time role reports to the General Manager, models Visionworks values, coaches associates, coordinates appointments, and drives sales while maintaining an exceptional in-store experience.

Pay rate ranges from $17.26 to $22.87 per hour, with opportunities for bonuses and benefits; prior supervisory experience

Qualifications

HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
1-5 years of supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

Promote the store’s profitability and achievement of sales goals by holding self and team accountable to delivering daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
Role model and engage in all steps of Patient/Customer journey and supervise associates on exam lane and sales floor.
Coordinate and confirm doctor appointments and eyewear services to meet patient needs.
Coach and support associates to deliver excellent patient and customer experiences.
Resolve obstacles in the patient/customer experience in partnership with the General Manager.
Execute operational activities to meet financial and customer experience goals.
