Job summary

Visionworks in Lombard, IL is seeking an Optical Supervisor/Assistant Manager to lead the store in the absence of the General Manager and drive daily sales, service quality, and a compelling patient journey. This role models the Visionworks way and ensures a straightforward, human and bold experience for every customer.

The position requires 1–5 years of supervisory experience, a HS Diploma or GED, and a passion for coaching associates to achieve store goals while maintaining excellent eyewear

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required
• 1-5 years of supervisory experience required

Responsibilities

• Lead the store in the absence of the General Manager and support financial goals.
• Coach, motivate, and support associates to perform in their roles with excellence to ensure a flawless patient/customer experience.
• Promote the store’s profitability and achievement of sales goals by delivering daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
• Role model and engage in the patient/customer journey on exam lane and sales floor.
• Coordinate doctor appointments and eyewear services to meet patient/customer needs.
• Execute all broad operational activities to meet the store's financial and customer experience goals.
