Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor at Mall of America to lead our optical team and ensure exceptional customer experiences. You will supervise, coach, and mentor sales associates and opticians while maintaining store operations and optical standards.

Ideal candidates are licensed dispensing opticians with 2+ years of supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for eyewear retail.

Qualifications

• A licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license or an ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states, with 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities
• Passionate about the eyewear and retail industries
• A clear, effective, and professional communicator—you can break down technical terms for customers
• Dedicated to going above-and-beyond to make customers and teammates happy
• An energetic, positive team player in a fast-paced environment
• Extremely detail-oriented, cool under pressure, and capable of juggling multiple responsibilities
• Open-minded and constantly learning
• Takes work seriously, but not themselves
• Not on LEIE list

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet all eyewear needs
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy
• Check that finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings
• Lead store operations and mentor Optical team
• Maintain store systems, inventory databases, and business operations
• Foster a productive, positive employee culture
