Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor to lead our team of in-house optical professionals in Milwaukee. You will rely on your optical prowess, product knowledge, and friendly demeanor to create outstanding customer experiences while ensuring store operations run smoothly.

As a keyholder, you will open and close the shop, mentor opticians and retail advisors, and uphold Warby Parker standards. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to help the brand grow while

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license or ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states.
• 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective and professional communicator who can break down technical terms for customers.
• Detail-oriented, energetic, and able to juggle multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to help meet eyewear needs and record measurements with accuracy.
• Check eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Set store up for success daily by executing operational, service, and staff zoning procedures.
• Lead and mentor the Optical team, including the Optician Apprentice Program participants.
• Maintain store systems, inventory databases, and general operations.
• Foster a productive, positive employee culture in the store.
