Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED required.
• Solid optical theory knowledge and merch knowledge.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Leadership and training experience preferred.
• Edging and mounting experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with cash registers, computers and calculators is expected.
• Strong sales and problem solving abilities.
• Good math skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to customers and patients.
• Assist in achieving store success by managing key optical and lab processes and systems to ensure quality results.
• Assist customers with selections, provide recommendations and support sales team.
• Serve as a responsible alternate store key holder.
• In lab situations, perform custom fits, insert prescriptions, and ensure eyewear meets optical standards.
