Job summary

National Vision, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to lead store operations, manage optical staff, and ensure exceptional customer service.

You will oversee promotions, inventory, and compliance with policies while supporting the General Manager in staffing and performance targets. Ideal candidates have optical sales and supervisory experience, strong communication and analytical skills, and a proven ability to drive results in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Optical sales experience and supervisory experience are preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Sound understanding of store operations and standards for success.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) for effective management of teams.
• Strong organizational skills for planning work and monitoring progress toward goals.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (P&L).
• Oversee eyeglass department for efficiency and policy compliance.
• Promote outstanding customer service across all associates.
• Ensure quality standards; review remakes and enforce policies.
• Report store activity to GM, DM and Corporate.
• Manage promotions, ads and visual merchandising.
• Supervise Opticians and CL Sales staff and day-to-day tasks.
• Assist GM with staffing forecasts and recruitment.
• Motivate staff to exceed performance standards.
• Adhere to licensing requirements where applicable.
