Job summary

National Vision, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to oversee daily store operations, lead the eyeglass department and drive sales while maintaining top customer service standards. You’ll manage staff, monitor budgets, and ensure merchandising aligns with brand guidelines across busy locations.

Qualifications

• Maintain Optical license as required by the state.
• Optical sales experience. Supervising experience is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Sound understanding of store operations and standards for success.
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
• Strong organizational skills for planning work and progress monitoring.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope.
• ABO and NCLE Certified.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and manage staff.
• Drive profit, sales and performance goals per company standards.
• Monitor operating costs, budgets and resources.
• Oversee eyeglass department for efficiency and policy compliance.
• Ensure outstanding customer service and positive associates experience.
• Mentor and supervise Opticians and Sales associates.
• Assist in forecasting staffing needs and recruitment.
• Lead and coach toward sales and customer service goals.
• Support Apprentice Opticians where permitted by law.
