Job summary

The role requires strong leadership, business acumen, and knowledge of optical merchandise. Excellent communication and a track record in retail management are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• State licensure (if applicable) and ABO Certification in non-licensed states.
• 4+ years management/supervisory experience.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of optical theory and merchandise.
• Experience with cash registers, computers and calculators.

Responsibilities

• Conveys a commitment to unsurpassed Customer Service and ensures staff follow the Sales and Service Process.
• Demonstrates Diamond Service Principles and Service Vision with all customers.
• Provides on-the-job training and guidance to team members using Company programs.
• Analyzes store financial data and recommends improvements to profitability.
• Forecasts staffing needs using the labor scheduling model and recruits high caliber staff.
• Performs administrative duties including payroll, inventory management, and order tracking.
• Drives optometric partnerships and collaborations with doctors of optometry.
• Ensures safety programs are implemented and conducts monthly safety inspections.
