Job summary

Visionworks is seeking an Optical Supervisor/Assistant Manager in Maryland. This role leads the store in the General Manager's absence, drives sales, and supports financial goals.

You will coach staff, oversee exam lanes and sales floors, and ensure a smooth patient journey with exceptional service. Ideal candidates have 1–5 years of supervisory experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a passion for helping customers look and see great.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of supervisory experience required.
• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Promote the store's profitability and achieve sales targets.
• Model and supervise patient/customer journey across exam lane and sales floor.
• Coordinate and confirm doctor appointments and eyewear services.
• Coach and motivate associates to deliver excellent patient/customer experiences.
• Resolve issues with the General Manager to improve customer experience.
• Execute operational tasks to meet financial and customer service goals.
