Job summary

LensCrafters in Mobile, AL seeks an Assistant Manager to lead in the Store Manager's absence and act as a business owner within the community. You will drive key KPIs, support sales, and ensure high-quality customer care in a fast-paced optical retail environment.

You will develop the team, deliver timely feedback, execute visual standards, and maintain store operations including weekend shifts. Experience in retail management and knowledge of optics are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 1+ year(s) management/supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Knowledge of retail operations, processes & policies.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality & improvement to exceed all key performance indicators (KPIs):Sales, conversions, customer count, and growth targets.
• Supports store business plans to maximize sales & profit.
• Partners with the Store Manager to lead & develop the team.
• Delivers constructive feedback and supports development efforts.
• Maintains store appearance and visual standards, and ensures policies are followed.
• Works a flexible schedule, including nights & weekends.
