LensCrafters in Gainesville, FL is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead the store in the Store Manager's absence and to act as a business owner on the sales floor. You will drive sales performance, coach a retail team, and ensure strong customer care while maintaining store standards and community relationships.

The role requires 1+ year of supervisory experience, solid math skills, and proficiency with cash registers and basic computer tools.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 1+ year of management/supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Knowledge of retail operations, processes & policies.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators.
• Must have a strong command of the English language for all written correspondence & oral communication.
• Strong communicator & listener; proven selling and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Delivers quality & improvement to exceed KPIs: Comp Sales, % Sales to Plan, Conversion, Customer Count, Comp Growth, Traffic, store profitability, retention, NPS.
• Understands retail business and competitors; supports store plans to maximize sales & profit.
• Partners with store manager to lead and develop the team; provides feedback and development.
• Executes visual directives and maintains store appearance.
• Maintains positive relationships with doctors and customers; ensures policy compliance.
• Performs administrative duties; works a flexible schedule including nights & weekends.
