Job summary

Eyeglass World in Indianapolis is seeking an Optical Specialist to bring the brand to life through confident service, eyewear readiness, final fitting, and polished handoffs at pickup. You will support the Optometrists’ workflow and ensure a seamless customer journey in-store.

The role emphasizes finishing excellence, brand-aligned service, and a customer-first mindset, with opportunities to grow within National Vision’s Eyeglass World family.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service is required.
• Strong multitasking, time management and organizational skills; clear communication and educating customers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and personalized service at every stage of the visit.
• Guide customers through eyewear selection, final fitting, and product education.
• Ensure customers leave feeling confident in both their eyewear and their experience.
• Perform finishing work including final adjustments, inspections and quality checks.
• Prepare orders for pickup and deliver polished, brand aligned handoff.
• Support order entry, tracking, and timely completion.
