Job summary

National Vision seeks an Optical Specialist to deliver an exceptional in-store Eyeglass World experience. You will assist customers with eyewear selection, perform final fittings, and ensure orders are ready for pickup, upholding brand standards.

In this role you will support pre-exam workflows, help transitions between exam, finish and pickup, keep work areas organized, and proactively resolve issues to keep every customer interaction smooth and satisfactory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident service at every stage of the visit.
• Guide customers through eyewear selection, fitting, and product education.
• Prepare orders for pickup with accuracy and brand alignment.
• Assist with patient flow and pre-exam processes to support Optometrists.
• Maintain organized finish and retail areas and resolve issues proactively.
