Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking an Optical Service Rep to be the first point of contact for patients, delivering courteous and professional assistance. You will resolve inquiries, handle sales transactions, and coordinate services across departments to ensure a seamless patient experience.

In this role, you will work closely with the Optometry/OcularCare team to ensure accuracy in transactions and support patient access to merchandise and services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Previous retail, hospitality, or customer service experience required.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients in a friendly, professional manner.
• Investigate and resolve patient inquiries concerning merchandise, service, and billing in person or by phone.
• Complete and record sales transactions accurately in the HFO POS system.
• Coordinate patients' services with all Henry Ford OcularCare departments.
