Job summary

Henry Ford OptimEyes is seeking a front-desk associate to greet patients, manage appointments, and process sales at the HFO POS system. You will coordinate with multiple departments to ensure seamless patient services and accurate record keeping.

Role requires strong customer service skills, basic math, and the ability to work evenings and weekends in a retail optical environment. Training is provided to meet company standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Retail, hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Must show strong organization and multitasking abilities.
• Must complete all required training as directed by Henry Ford OptimEyes.
• Maintain customer service standards through ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients in a friendly, professional manner.
• Investigate and resolve patient inquiries about merchandise, service and billing.
• Complete and record sales transactions in the HFO POS system.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient services with departments.
• Explain optical products and services to patients over 18.
• Enter prescriptions and communicate with pharmacies as needed.
• Assist customers, answer questions and maintain stock and displays.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and support team goals.
• Work evening and weekend hours as required.
