Job summary

Clarkson Eyecare, Inc. is seeking an Optical Technician to deliver a world-class Total Patient Experience, dispensing and fitting glasses and contacts under prescriptions from Optometrists and Ophthalmologists.

This role focuses on aligning patient needs with the products and services offered. Responsibilities include assisting patients in frame selection, operating the auto-lensometer and lensometer, taking critical measurements, and dispensing all glasses and contact lens orders with accuracy

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a role interacting with customers/patients (or equivalent education/experience).
• Healthcare/ophthalmic office exposure is preferred.
• ABO/NCLE not required but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with patients while delivering great medical support.
• Assist patients in selecting frames based on style and facial/eye measurements.
• Operate auto-lensometer and manual lensometer as part of dispensing.
• Educate and recommend lenses, coatings, and frames to suit patient needs.
• Take measurements (PD, bridge, eye size, temple length, etc.) and ensure accurate dispensation.
